About Smart Plan

What is Smart Plan?

  • It is an installment service for all active KRUNGSRI or HomePro credit cardholders. Together with the monthly spending from the purchase of goods and services, the monthly installment will be included in your KRUNGSRI or HomePro credit card’s billing statement. The cardholders will have full possession of the product from the transaction date.

The requirement of Smart Plan

  • A KRUNGSRI and/or HomePro credit cardholder, whose card is valid on the purchasing date, is automatically qualified for the Smart Plan.   For those who are interested in participating KRUNGSRI Smart Plan, but not yet our card member can apply for KRUNGSRI or HomePro credit card and enter Smart Plan program on the next occasion.

Terms and Conditions

  • Installment plan up to 3,4,6,9, or 10 months.
  • The Credit Usage Charge can be 0% or 0.8% per month depending on products.
  • Minimum monthly installment is not less than 500 Baht.
  • Product price must be over 3,000 Baht per piece / per contract after the down payment (If any).
  • On every purchase, cardholder’s signature has to be matched with the signature appearing on the back of credit card.

How to pay the Installment and Credit Usage Charge?

  • The Installment and Credit Usage Charge amount will be posted in a monthly billing statement issued to the cardholder at least 10 days in advance. The cardholders will make payment within the time stipulated by the company in the same manner as regular credit card usage.
  • The billing statement will show the Installment amount (including Credit Usage Charge), order of payment, and product description.
  • Monthly installment will be charged in the same monthly statement of cardholder, which total to the “Outstanding Balance.”  Please note that, monthly installment will be charged full amount and not applicable for the minimum payment of 10% of the Outstanding Balance (or at least 500 baht).
  • Additional fee will be charged to the cardholder in case he/she fails to make the minimum payment.

Q & A

1. What is the requirement of the KRUNGSRI Smart Plan?

  • All existing and active KRUNGSRI and/or HomePro credit cardholders are qualified for the Smart Plan.

2. Does KRUNGSRI Smart Plan be applicable for supplementary cardholders or not?

  • Yes, both primary cardholder and supplementary cardholder are qualified for KRUNGSRI Smart Plan whereby the primary cardholder will be responsible for the installment.

3. Where can the cardholders purchase the products through the Smart Plan Program?

  • HomePro and on every branch of all participating merchants where “Smart Plan” logos displayed, only applicable for the specified merchandises.

4. Does installment credit line separate from the credit limit?

  • No, installment purchases share the same credit limit of the credit card.

5. In case of not holding KRUNGSRI credit card, can the customers apply for the card in the same day of purchasing goods through Smart Plan program?

  • No, the customer is required to send a completed application form to KRUNGSRI Credit Card’s New Account for approval first.  Once the application is approved and the card is sent to customer on the specified address, he/she may use the card in the upcoming occasion.

6. Can the cardholders make the prepayment under the Smart Plan?

  • Yes, the customer may pay the full installment inclusive of the overall usage charge upon the end of the installment period; however, he/she may need to contact Customer Service at 0-2646-3000 beforehand.

7. If the cardholders are currently paying installment of a product, can they do another installment purchases?

  • Yes, if there is credit limit available.

8. Why the customer does not get approval to enter the “Smart Plan” program?

             There are 2 major cases as follows:

    1. Credit Line is full.  We suggest that the customer amount of down payment or contact customer service for temporary extra credit limit request.
    2. The credit history of the cardholders fails to meet the company’s criteria.

9. In case of cardholder forget to bring KRUNGSRI Credit Card on the purchase date, will    he/she be able to enter the “Smart Plan” program?

  • No, the cardholder needs to have KRUNGSRI Credit Card on purchased date.
